Entries – Alpacas

Nowra Show Alpacas Section 2019

The Alpaca section would like to welcome you all to visit and ask questions to students from Vincentia High School and the Australian Alpaca Youth Group. Alpacas don’t like dogs so please avoid bringing your dog near the Alpacas.

On Friday the 8^th February – Vincentia High School Student’s will be bringing some of the Beautiful Alpacas they work with and train for everyone to meet, have a photo with and walk if you wish.

On Saturday the 9^th February – We will be holding a Youth Paraders competition between 9am – 3pm. If you are age between 7 and 26 years old, please feel free to enter this competition. There is an Open section for the old hands at the Youth Paraders and a Preliminary for the newer competitors.

During the Lunch break of the Youth Paraders we will are running the Alpaca Young Judges for people ages between 15 and 23 years old, this section is about placing Alpacas or Alpaca fleeces in order of 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th. Then speaking about why you placed the animals or fleece in the order you have placed them. This will be done in front of the crowd and the over Judge at the alpaca section.
